Manufacturing ERP · Built, not rented
From raw material to payment received. One system.
Anature is an ultra-specialised ERP for manufacturers: suppliers, formulations, production orders, stock, costs and margin — connected directly to your online sales channels, to payment, and to your accounts. Every order taken on your website depletes real stock, feeds real forecasts, triggers real production and settles into real books.
- Built by a British company since 2008
- Manufacturing, commerce and payment in one model
- Your data, your server, your documentation
Manufacturing companies rarely lose control all at once.
It happens one workaround at a time. A supplier's catalogue lives in a PDF attachment. The formulation lives in a spreadsheet only one person understands. A quote request goes out by email and comes back three weeks later with a price nobody can compare to the last one. The online shop holds its own stock figure, the warehouse holds another, and the accounts hold a third. Payments land in a processor's dashboard that nobody reconciles until month end.
Then a raw material doubles in price, or a supplier stops answering, or a product sells out in a weekend — and the real questions arrive: which products does this affect, what do they cost us now, what have we actually been paid, and what do we need to manufacture next?
Most companies cannot answer in an afternoon. Not because the information doesn't exist, but because it is scattered across suppliers, subcontractors, shop platforms, payment processors, inboxes and people — and almost none of it belongs to the company in a form the company can use.
The knowledge of how your products are built, sold and paid for is your most valuable asset. In most manufacturing businesses, it is also the least well kept.
The system your operation already runs on — built properly this time.
Anature is an ultra-specialised ERP for companies that make things. Not a generic suite with a manufacturing module bolted on; a private intranet modelled on your actual chain — the way you source, the way you compose, the way you make, the way you sell, the way you get paid.
We design and build it around your process, and we have been doing it for British and European manufacturers since 2008.
Specialised by design
We only build for manufacturing. Multi-level compositions, subcontracted production, raw-material traceability and true costing are the core of the product — not edge cases we work around.
One loop, closed
A sale on your website consumes stock, adjusts the forecast, raises the manufacturing requirement, prices against real cost and reconciles against the payment received. Purchasing, production, commerce and finance read from the same numbers.
Yours to keep
Your catalogue, your formulations, your supplier terms, your technical documentation, your customer and payment history. Held in your system, exportable at any time, not hostage to a vendor, a marketplace or a subcontractor.
Everything the chain touches, in one system.
Each module works on its own. Together they close the loop between what you buy, what you make, what you hold, what you sell and what you are paid.
Source
4.1
Suppliers & manufacturers
A live register of every supplier and contract manufacturer: contacts, terms, lead times, minimum order quantities, certifications and price history. Onboard a new supplier in minutes, attach their catalogue, and see instantly which of your products they can supply and at what cost. Supplier catalogues stop being attachments and become structured data you can search, compare and audit.
4.2
Requests for quotation
Issue RFQs to one supplier or twenty from the same screen, with the exact specification attached. Responses come back into a single comparison view — price, lead time, MOQ, validity — so you compare like for like instead of reading nine emails. Every quotation received is kept, dated and linked to the material it priced, which is how you build a real negotiating position over time.
Make
4.3
Raw materials & stock
Raw materials, components, packaging, labels, work in progress and finished goods, tracked with the same rigour. Batch and lot numbers, expiry dates, locations, reserved versus available quantities, minimum thresholds and reorder points. Movements are recorded, not estimated — production deducts them automatically, and so does every order taken online.
4.4
Compositions & formulations
Define what a product is made of, at any depth. A composition can be three ingredients or a hierarchy of sub-assemblies, each with its own composition, suppliers and costs. Versions are kept, so you always know which formulation a given batch was made from. Change a component once and every composition containing it — at every level — reflects the change.
4.5
Manufacturing orders
Launch production in house or with a subcontractor from the same order. Anature prepares the material requirements, checks availability against current stock, flags what is missing, generates the order documentation for the manufacturer, and follows the order through to receipt. On completion, raw materials are deducted and finished goods enter stock automatically — no double entry, no reconciliation ritual.
4.6
Technical documentation
Specifications, technical data sheets, safety data sheets, certificates of analysis, certifications, label artwork, supplier contracts, regulatory files. Each document attached where it belongs — to the material, the composition, the supplier, the batch or the finished product — with versions and expiry dates. When a certificate is about to lapse, you know before your customer does.
Sell
4.7
Product catalogue, costing & margin
A complete catalogue of what you sell, with the cost of every item calculated from the bottom up: materials, packaging, manufacturing, logistics, overhead. Cost price, selling price, gross margin and contribution are visible per product, per range and per channel — and they update the moment an underlying cost moves.
4.8
E-commerce connection
Connect your online shops, marketplaces and B2B portals directly to the platform. Products, variants, descriptions, media, prices and availability are published from Anature to every channel; orders come back the other way. One catalogue, one stock figure, however many places you sell.
4.9
Payments & payment gateway
Take payment on your sites through a gateway wired into the same system that holds the order, the stock and the cost. Cards, digital wallets, bank transfer and SEPA direct debit; multiple currencies; subscriptions and instalments; refunds, partial refunds and chargebacks handled where the order lives — not in a separate dashboard.
Account
4.10
Financial management & accounting export
Revenue by channel, product and period; payment status; outstanding balances; settlement and fee reconciliation; VAT treatment by country. Everything exports cleanly to your accounting system or to your accountant, in the format they actually use, on the cycle you choose.
Steer
4.11
Demand & manufacturing forecasting
Real consumption from your sales channels feeds a forecast of what you will run out of, and when. Anature converts that into material requirements across every level of composition, factors in supplier lead times and minimum quantities, and tells you what to order and what to manufacture — before the shortage, not after it.
4.12
Pricing intelligence
An AI layer that continuously aligns public selling prices with real costs and with what the business currently needs.
4.13
Analytics
Purchasing, production, stock coverage, margin by product, range and channel, supplier performance, cost drift, revenue and cash collected. The reports your finance director keeps rebuilding by hand, built once and always current.
4.14
Users, roles & permissions
Granular access by role: buyers see supplier terms, production sees orders and stock, commerce sees channels and payments, management sees margin and cash. Every significant action is logged, so you know who changed a formulation or a price, when, and what it was before.
Why Anature is different
Simple products and very complex ones. Same system, same logic.
Most manufacturing software makes you choose. Either it handles straightforward items well and collapses when a product is made of products that are made of products — or it is built for heavy industry and is unusable for anything that isn't.
Anature's composition engine has no such ceiling. A product can be a single purchased item, a simple blend of raw materials, or a deep hierarchy of sub-assemblies, each one manufactured by a different supplier from its own formulation, with its own stock, its own documentation and its own cost build-up. The model doesn't change as complexity grows; it goes deeper.
One item.
Bought, stocked, sold. Cost in, price out.
A composition.
Several raw materials, a quantity for each, a manufacturing cost. Cost calculated from the parts.
Nested compositions.
A component that is itself manufactured — from its own materials, by its own supplier, under its own order.
A full production chain.
Several levels, several subcontractors, several sites — one calculated cost, one margin, one source of truth.
The practical consequence: when the price of one raw material moves, you see its effect on every finished product it reaches — however many levels away it sits — on the margin of each one, and on the price your customers are being shown online.
Connected & automated
Your shop connected, your production sheets written, your stock watched.
Three things the system does on its own, once it knows how your products are made. None of them is a separate tool you have to remember to open: they are consequences of holding the composition, the stock and the order in one place.
01
Your online shop, connected to payment and to stock
An order taken on your site is authorised through the payment gateway and deducted from real stock in the same movement — at every level of the composition, not just the finished item. There is no export, no overnight synchronisation and no second stock figure to reconcile, because there is only one.
See Commerce & payments02
Manufacturing sheets, written by the system
Launch a production run and Anature writes the sheet from the composition: every material with the quantity for the batch you are actually making, the packaging, the process steps, the batch number and the expiry date to print. Hand it to your workshop or send it to your subcontractor. Nothing is retyped, so the sheet cannot disagree with the formulation it came from.
03
Stock that is watched, not counted
An AI layer reads your batches against what you actually consume: which lots will pass their expiry date before you can use them, and how much of each will be written off at the current rate. It raises the reorder alert against the supplier’s real lead time, so the order goes out while there is still time for it to arrive.

The AI layer
Prices that answer to your costs — and to what the business needs this month.
A selling price set once and reviewed annually is a decision you stopped making. Costs move constantly: raw materials, freight, currency, minimum quantities, supplier terms, payment fees. Meanwhile the business itself has needs that change — stock that must move, margin that must be rebuilt, cash that must come in before quarter end.
Anature reads both sides. It knows the true, bottom-up cost of every product at every level of its composition. It knows your stock position, your coverage, your commitments and what is actually selling. And it continuously proposes price adjustments aligned with the objective you've set — pushed straight to your sales channels once you approve them.
Protect against shortages.
When a material is running short or a supplier is late, Anature identifies which products draw on it and adjusts prices and priorities to slow consumption on the lines you can least afford to break — before the shortage becomes a stockout.
Rebuild margin.
When costs drift upward, it finds where the increase can be absorbed by the market and where it must be passed on — product by product, not by a blanket percentage that damages your best sellers.
Release cash.
When cash is the priority, it identifies slow-moving stock and the price point that will actually move it, with the margin impact stated in advance.
Every proposal is explained and costed. Nothing changes without approval — Anature makes the recommendation, your team makes the decision.
Where manufacturing meets money
Your shop, your stock and your bank account, on speaking terms at last.
In most manufacturers, the online shop is an island. It holds its own product list, its own stock number and its own prices. Payments accumulate in a processor's dashboard. Once a month, someone exports three files and spends two days making them agree — and the resulting picture is already out of date.
Anature removes the island. Your sales channels are connected directly to the system that holds the products, the stock, the compositions and the costs. Payment is part of the same chain rather than a service bolted on at the end. The result is one continuous line from the raw material you buy to the money that reaches your account, with no manual link in the middle.
7.1
Channels connected to the source
Publish products, variants, descriptions, media, prices and availability from Anature to every channel you sell through — your own shop, your marketplaces, your B2B portal — and receive orders back into the same system. One catalogue maintained once. One stock figure that every channel respects, so two customers cannot buy the last unit.
7.2
Payment, handled where the order lives
Payment is integrated rather than outsourced to a tab nobody opens. Cards, digital wallets, bank transfer and SEPA direct debit; multiple currencies; one-off payments, subscriptions and instalment plans; authorisation and capture; refunds, partial refunds and chargebacks — all managed against the order, the customer and the product they relate to.
Anature acts as the gateway layer for your sites: it orchestrates the payment providers you use, presents a single checkout and a single record, and keeps card data out of your systems entirely — the provider holds it, under their own PCI DSS certification. If you change provider, or run two in parallel for redundancy or for better rates by country, your orders, your reconciliation and your reporting are unaffected.
7.3
Consumption that drives production
Every order paid is a real depletion of real stock, at every level of the composition. Anature converts that consumption into a rolling forecast: what will run out, when, and what has to be ordered or manufactured to prevent it — allowing for supplier lead times and minimum quantities. The shop stops being something you supply blind and becomes the demand signal your production plan runs on.
7.4
Financial information, without the month-end archaeology
Revenue by channel, product, country and period. Payment status on every order. Outstanding balances and overdue accounts. Settlements reconciled against payouts, with processor fees identified so your margin is stated after the cost of getting paid — not before it. VAT treatment by country, applied at the point of sale.
7.5
Export to accounting
Everything your accountant needs, in the format they actually use: sales journals, payment journals, VAT summaries, customer and supplier ledgers, stock valuation at cost. Exported on the cycle you choose, or pushed straight into your accounting package. The month-end file that takes two days to build stops existing.

Technologies we integrate
Your providers, connected — and still yours.
Anature connects to the services you already use, or to the ones you choose. We build and maintain the integration; the commercial relationship stays yours, which is what keeps your rates, your terms and your freedom to change provider intact.
This is not a fixed list. If you already run a provider we have not named, we connect that one — and more than one at a time where it earns you a better rate by country.
- StripeCards, wallets and subscriptions
- PayPalWallet and express checkout
- SEPA Direct DebitEuro-zone direct debit
- ResendTransactional email over SMTP
- Google CloudData platform and infrastructure
Each of these is contracted by you, not by us. Anature never receives or holds your money or your customers’ money, and card details are captured by the payment provider under that provider’s own certification — never by us.
Product names and marks are the property of their respective owners. Their use here describes the integrations we build, and implies no endorsement of Anature Ltd by them.
Your product knowledge should belong to you.
Ask a manufacturer where the definitive version of a key formulation is held, and the answer is often uncomfortable: at the subcontractor. The supplier who makes it holds the specification, the process, the tolerances and the history. The company that sells the product — and carries the liability for it — holds a purchase order.
The same pattern repeats at the other end of the chain. The customer list lives in a shop platform, the transaction history in a payment processor, the product data in a marketplace's own format. Each of those relationships is a dependency, and each one is expensive to end.
Anature is built to reverse that. Supplier catalogues, manufacturer catalogues, compositions, process documentation, technical files, customer records and payment history are held in your system, in your name, structured and exportable. You can share what a partner needs to see, and keep everything else.
The documentation that describes how your company's products are made, sold and paid for ends up where it belongs: inside your company.
Built around your process. In production, not in a pilot that never ends.
Discovery.
We map how you actually source, compose, manufacture, stock, sell and get paid — including the workarounds. The spreadsheets are evidence, not embarrassment.
Blueprint.
You receive a written specification and a fixed quotation: modules, data model, channel and payment integrations, milestones, cost. You decide with the numbers in front of you.
Build.
Development in short cycles with a working system in front of you throughout. Your process drives the software, not the reverse.
Migration.
Suppliers, materials, compositions, catalogue, stock, documents, customers, order and payment history. We take your existing data seriously — it is usually the hardest part of the project and we plan it as such.
Run.
Training, support and ongoing development. The system evolves as the business does.
We build the parts you need, in the order you need them. A company that starts with suppliers and stock and connects its shop and its payments six months later gets a coherent system at every stage, not a half-built one.
Built for companies whose products are not simple.
Anature is at its best where a product has a formulation, a process, a supply chain and a file of documents behind it — and a shop in front of it.

You'll recognise yourself if…
- Your true product cost takes a day to calculate and is out of date by the time you have it.
- Your formulations live in spreadsheets, and the real version lives at your supplier.
- Your website's stock figure and your warehouse's stock figure have never matched.
- You reconcile payments, payouts and fees by hand, once a month, from three exports.
- You discover a shortage when an order cannot be shipped.
- Your selling prices were set against costs that no longer exist.
- You manufacture through several subcontractors and cannot see the chain end to end.
- Your generic ERP was configured for distribution and has been fought with ever since.
A British company that has been building specialised systems since 2008.
Anature Ltd was incorporated in England in 2008 and has spent that time on one side of business software: systems for companies that make things and sell them. That history is not only technical. The company has run a manufacturing supply chain of its own — raw materials sourced in France, production through subcontractors, logistics from Spain, a catalogue to cost, price, sell online and account for. We have been the client for this kind of software, and we know precisely where the ordinary version of it fails.
We work with a small number of clients at a time, directly with the people who run purchasing, production, commerce and finance. There is no reseller layer and no implementation partner between you and the team that writes the code.

FAQ
Is Anature a product or a bespoke build?
Both, in the order that works. The foundations — suppliers, materials, compositions, orders, stock, documentation, costing, channels, payments — are proven and already built. What we specialise in is fitting them to your process rather than asking you to change it to suit the software.
How long does it take?
A first useful scope is typically live within a few months; the blueprint stage gives you a dated plan and a fixed quotation before any development begins.
Which e-commerce platforms can you connect?
The common ones, through their APIs, and bespoke or in-house shops through ours. Marketplaces and B2B portals as well. Which connections you need is settled at the blueprint stage — as is the direction each one runs in.
Can Anature replace our shop, or does it sit behind it?
Either. Most clients keep the storefront they have and let Anature own the catalogue, stock, pricing and payment behind it. Where the existing shop is the weak point, we build the front end too.
Which payment methods and providers do you support?
Cards, digital wallets, bank transfer and SEPA direct debit, in multiple currencies, including subscriptions and instalments. Anature orchestrates the providers you choose — you keep your commercial relationship and your rates, and you can run more than one provider at a time.
Do you store card details?
No. Card data is captured and held by the payment provider under their PCI DSS certification and never touches your system. Anature holds the order, the transaction reference, the status and the reconciliation — everything you need, and nothing you don't want the liability for.
Does it export to our accounting system?
Yes. Sales and payment journals, VAT summaries, ledgers and stock valuation, in your accountant's format, on your cycle — or pushed directly into your accounting package.
Where does our data live?
On infrastructure you control, under your own name. It is exportable in full, at any time, in standard formats. That is a condition of the way we work, not an option.
We already have an ERP. Is this a replacement?
Sometimes. Often it sits alongside, taking on everything the existing system handles badly — compositions, subcontracted manufacturing, true costing, channel and payment reconciliation — and exchanging data with it. We will tell you honestly which of the two your situation calls for.
What does it cost?
Projects are quoted, not priced from a list, because the scope genuinely differs. Tell us what you make and how you sell it, and you will have a written quotation with a defined scope.
Do you sign NDAs?
As a matter of course, before any detailed discussion of your process or formulations.
Request a quote
Tell us what you make. We'll tell you what it takes.
A short description of your products, your suppliers, your sales channels and where the current process hurts is enough to start. You will get a considered reply from the people who would build the system — not a brochure — and, if it is a fit, a written quotation with a defined scope.
Or write to us directly: business@anatureltd.co.uk
We reply to every genuine enquiry within two working days. Everything you send is treated as confidential, and we will sign an NDA before any detailed discussion.
